MV Frisian Octa

Last year we said farewell to mv Frisian Lady, this summer we are proud to welcome a new lady to the Boomsma fleet: mv Frisian Octa (ex-Beauforce).

The vessel was moored at the Harlingen shipyard. Where all crew and subcontractors worked very hard to get her in shape and fit a V-Sat and ballast water treatment plant. We want to thank everybody involved for getting the 8200dwt vessel in good shape. Of course, the vessel is painted ‘Boomsma Blue’ as well.

The mv Frisian Octa sailed from Harlingen to Rotterdam. After bunkering, the latest addition of our fleet is now set to depart for her first voyage under the new name!
